Telling People

Everyone keeps asking us if we're telling people... 

People generally say to wait until after you're 13 weeks pregnant to start telling people because if something is going to happen, it's usually during that timeframe.

Here's the thing. Something can happen at any point throughout your pregnancy, whether at 8 weeks, 21 weeks, like we experienced, or 40 weeks. People don't generally talk about things happening after 13 weeks because it's "uncommon". Wrong. It's very common.

We want to be excited. We want our family to be excited. If something happens we'll have to explain it regardless of who we've told. Plus, we'll have support from everyone we told if something does happen, versus leaving us to cope by ourselves.
